The concept behind energy healing is that we as souls exist beyond just the physical body, and that we contain emotional, mental, and energetic qualities as well. By working with these subtle energies, the mood, energy level, and even physical ailments can be healed over time. Reiki itself is a type of energy healing that is directly translated as "universal energy" or "life force energy." It is a holistic practice that can be done in person, or at certain levels of training, over distance. In my Reiki healing sessions, I directly work with the seven main chakras of the body. These chakras, or energy centers, have been studied across many cultures for thousands of years and are known to be directly related to mental, emotional, and even physical symptoms. 

What can you expect during an energy healing session?

I like to describe these as a massage for your aura! They can incorporate direct touch for in-person sessions, but mostly my hands would be hovering over your body as I work through the different energy centers. Sessions are equally effective over distance and typically last one hour. I  play relaxing music frequency music that also aids the process. During the session, patients have described a warmth or tingling sensation. It varies from person to person but many have even colors or even visions as I work, and everyone leaves feeling very relaxed. After the session, I will share any insight I have for you from your guides and we will discuss ways to support yourself post-session.

How does distance energy healing work?

Universal energy is not confined to one single time or space, meaning that it is accessible anytime, anywhere. Your unique energetic signature can be accessed in the same way, similar to how we can call someone and hear them even though we are not physically standing next to them. Distance healing can work by providing a photo of yourself, connecting through the phone, or over video. For this reason, Reiki Distance Healing sessions are typically conducted over Zoom. 

What are Shamanic Ceremonies?

This is a similar process to Reiki, but it also includes working directly with your guides as well as other various types of chi such as water, earth, and celestial chi. It can also include working with the chakras that exist outside of the body such as the Wiracocha (8th chakra) and Earth Star Chakra. For the Taking Back Your Power Ceremony I offer below, I will guide you as we revisit past people, places, and events to take back the power you have given away, and return any energy you might still be subconsciously holding on to. This is a gentle process and many people have found it a very pleasant and healing experience, and is particularly powerful for empaths. Sound healing is used to aid this process.
