What is Ayurveda? Ayurveda is a method of incorporating foods into your lifestyle that best benefit your unique makeup on both a physical and energetic level. These different energetic signatures are called Doshas, and in our initial consultation, we will discover and review what your Dosha is as well as foods and activities that can help you feel your best. The idea here is NOT to create an environment of deprivation, or what you can't have, but instead to learn to integrate foods as you are ready that will help you best manage your energy and feel like you are greeting the world with your best foot forward. This means lots of flavor, variety, and color! Let's have fun with food!!
Along with Ayurveda, I also offer coaching for those transitioning into eating more plant-based foods, or a diet that is entirely plant-based. This can include education on "high vibrational foods," what that means, the difference between plant-based and vegan, and how to begin to make shifts that will best benefit you. Or if you are already familiar with a plant-based lifestyle, we can dive right in on food preparation and how to navigate challenges that come up either in social settings or on a personal level. Again, this approach is not about deprivation or telling you what you can't have. Instead, I will provide you with tips and guidance to incorporate the nutritional lifestyle that you DO want to have. I also have a plant-based cookbook of 33 recipes available for purchase below.
Please note, this is coaching not a meal plan service! I will happily walk you through meal ideas and discover recipes that work best for you, but if you are looking for strict meal plans to follow that outline all meals and snacks, I would recommend seeing a nutritionalist that specializes in this area.
All sessions are for one hour
Includes an introduction on what your Dosha is and how you can incorporate this into a happier lifestyle. Also great for nutritional coaching on a specific focus of your choosing such as Ayurvedic or plant-based principles.
Includes 10 private sessions at whatever pace works best for you. In this we can cover what your Dosha is, go over meal ideas, shopping, and food preparation, discuss obstacles such as cooking in a family setting or transition obstacles in general
